Dear Business Person, The time is coming to prepare for the New Holland Farmer's Fair Parade on September 28, 2011. We are asking our local business community to sponsor the parade with their financial support of $400.00. This amount entitles each business to enter one vehicle in the parade. If you wish to have additional vehicles, the cost is $300.00 each. This amount has not increased for over eight years. Advertising in the parade is an excellent value in front of "your" local customer base. Please complete the enclosed form and return it to me in the enclosed envelope no later than July 1, 2011. Your help by returning your application early will be appreciated. Even if you cannot attend, or are not interested in participating, please indicate that on the form by checking the appropriate box and return to me in the enclosed envelope. Once we have received all the sponsor agreements, we will then contact you with your position in the parade as well as which band or group you will be sponsoring. We will try to keep the sponsorship and your position in the parade the same as in the past; however, since we have some new bands and groups, we may need to make some adjustments. YOU WILL BE BILLED AFTER THE FARM SHOW IS OVER Please note that handouts are permitted this year!!! You may not throw anything from the vehicle or float, but you may have walkers hand items to spectators along the curbs. Due to space limitations in the formation area on Jackson Street, only those vehicles included in the parade will be allowed into the formation area. The area is too congested to allow vehicles hauling helpers or float riders. Vehicle passes will be sent to you in early September along with your confirmation letter indicating your place in the parade. Fire police will be strictly enforcing the NO PASS, NO ENTRANCE. Your co-operation will be greatly appreciated. PLEASE PROVIDE A SHORT PARAGRAPH ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS THAT CAN BE READ BY THE MASTER OF CEREMONIES AS YOU PASS THE JUDGES STAND. Sincerely, Betty Hostetter, Sponsor Coordinator
