Rabbits - Youth Class

Judging – Tuesday, September 27, 2011 – 6 pm
Entry fee - $1.00 per head

This is a one-day carrying cage show.  All carriers must have leak proof bottoms.

Rules:

1.  Contest is open to all 4-H and FFA youth.  Entries may be limited per exhibitor.

2.  Exhibitors must pre-register their entries with the chairperson beginning September 1 until space is full.  Send registration to Marcia Martin, 64 Scenic Drive, Denver, PA  17517.

3.  No rabbit showing signs of contagious or infectious disease will be admitted to show.  An "Animal Owner or Caretaker's Verification or Veterinarian-Client-Patient Relationship Form" is required (found on Pet Parade page).

4.  Rabbits will be judged according to A.R.B.A. Standards of Perfection.

PREMIUMS:    1^st prize - $6          2^nd - $4          3^rd - $2

Best in Show:  Messenger Bag

Note:  Jr. is up to 6 months of age and Sr. is 6 months of age and over.

SHOWMANSHIP:  You must have a rabbit entered in the youth show to participate in showmanship.  Open to 4-H & FFA Members.

PREMIUMS:    1^st prize - $10          2^nd - $8          3^rd - $6

Class:

Novice (first time showing)        Junior (under 10)        Intermediate (10-13)        Senior (14-18)

Registration for showmanship will begin at 5:00 pm day of show.
