45th Annual Fireman's 
Tug Of War Contest

All companies registered will participate in preliminary and elimination contests.  Winners will compete for the championship on Saturday for 1st through 4th place prizes.

Finals for the Tug Of War

AWARDS ARE MADE AFTER THE CONTEST SATURDAY NIGHT, RAIN OR SHINE.  ALL CONTESTS WILL BE HELD REGARDLESS OF CONDITIONS.    

Last year's participants for 2009 were:  Farmersville, Gordonville, Intercourse, Bowmansville, Martindale, Terre Hill, White Horse, Fivepointville, and Honey Brook. 

The winners and weights were:
1st Place     Intercourse     1,940 lbs.
2nd Place    Fivepointville  1,930 lbs.
3rd Place     Bowmansville    1,900 lbs.
4th Place     Gordonville       1,740 lbs.

PRIZES:

1st Place  -  $600 and trophy and individual member plaques
2nd Place  -  $500 and trophy
3rd Place  -  $400 and trophy
4th Place  -  $300 and trophy

All non-winning participating teams will receive $50 for entering.
