The Spectacle of Bands Parade

Wednesday, October 4, 2017 - 7:00 pm sharp
You are invited to participate in our annual parade in conjunction with our Farmers Fair by entering a float or marching group. No entry fee.

Deadline for registering is August 31, 2017.

PARADE ROUTE
The parade will form at the New Holland Park and proceed west on Jackson Street, north on Custer, east on Broad, south on Railroad,
east on Main, and south on Kinzer to the park.
The judges stand is located on East Main Street across from the Liberty Fire Company at the end of the route.

RESERVED SEATS
Reserved seats will be available across from the judges stand and can be obtained by contacting Jan at (717) 445-9902.

RESTRICTIONS
1. The parade is a continuous moving event with no pausing at any of the judging areas en route throughout the parade.
2. No animals are allowed to pull any floats or vehicles without written permission of the parade chairman. No hot rods, mini bikes, or hot cycles.
3. Handouts at curbside to spectators are permitted. Throwing is not permitted.
4. No commercial trucks allowed to participate unless they are a flat bed type used for float purposes.
5. Band sponsors are allowed one commercial vehicle to follow or precede the unit their firm is sponsoring.
6. Trophies given for: Best Music, Best Marching, Best Band Front in Classes A, B & C, Overall Winner, Best Twirler, Best Drum Major, and Best Musical Unit.
